Kittens, that actually worked... I started to see 1.0 servers. I was able to click players (to switch full and non-full servers on the top of the list)... but I couldnt scroll down. So I figure i put my cfg in and exec it... After I did that, when I tried to get into a server, it wouldnt let me. I tried closing out and execing again (twice)... sure enough, it kept kicking me off with some message. Then when I tried to get back into wolf (I right click the wolf icon and run as administrator) this is the msg I end up getting. www.megaupload.com/?d=KQNYD200 |

edit:: I didnt need to put my cfg in, it was already there... i was like "wtf"

i think that error usually comes up when ur not running as admin... but since u are maybe you should try copy the folder back into c:/ and running as admin thats a complete guess though

also that not being able to scroll up and down thing is pretty common, though its not much of a problem. either just use the tabs to find the server you want or just use xfire.

Dash- I would not mind it, but it wouldnt let me join a server anyways. But now I still cant get into wolf. I copied the folder and pasted it back into C:/ and now its gives me this message www.megaupload.com/?d=06FTL6XG |

Not worth all the hassle its giving me. Besides, I need to wean myself off of this game. 1.4 is just fine

I know this may sound silly, but maybe try system restore? I've done it in the past to a different time and it worked for me.

did ya miss the last post where he said it was too much of a hassle for him? a system restore wont exactly uncomplicate things in his situation.

I actually already tried system restore. Apparently my laptop can't hold a date past a week ago lol. Well it didn't let me click anything else... But yeah, I'll be playin 1.4 still. Hopefully I'll see you guys around there.

Yeah what pump said. If it comes down to it, you can always just play with no sound. I know a few really good players who play with out sound, Scott and Hale are an example of that. I actually think it helps your aim a lot, only downside obviously is not knowing what's going on around you. I may be mistaken but I think I remember hearing that joltz and xill don't use sound either? Anyway, it couldn't hurt trying to get used to not playing w/ sound, just make sure you aren't the one leading in the scrim  |
