Buy it off steam or download a random CD key generator  Or if you still have your 1.33 key, that works too! this is the easy option. |

LOL obviously I know you weren't calling me hacker you dumbass <3. I meant the giving the CD key to someone probably referred to me, otherwise it's widely known nowadays that I'm the most notorious hacker to come across the game. About 1.4, i'll try figuring something out, I found a wolf cd and it has a key on it but I'm not sure if its a legit key or not, guess I'll cross reference it through something to check if it matches a hacker or something.

Well the CD which looks bootleg as well was given to my brother back when he started wolf like 9-10 years back. It had a CD key written on it, whether its legit or not i'm not sure which is why i'd rather not risk any kind of accusations arising.

If you've already entered the key, you can check if it's banned or not without connecting to a server. 1. /map mp_base 2. /pb_plist 3. Jot down guid 4. check yawn/mbi to make sure it's clean 5.  ? 6. Profit! If pb_plist doesn't show anything, you probably just need to turn pb on with cl_pb_enable If you're instead worried that the key itself is the problem, the worst you are going to get is an invalid cd-key message. Dash and I have posted one method to get around that in previous threads |

try /pb_sv_enable 1 perhaps.
also try running rtcw as an administrator.
it sounds like your copy doesnt even have PB? but theres a thread in the rtcw chat section that is sticked, check that out, try toupdate you pb, if it doesnt help let us know.

Did both the things you said with enabling PB and going to mp_base, but when I do pb_plist, no information shows. I do not want to risk joining a server with the cd key of present just incase theres a negative outcome...i'm craving to play however! //edit// @ ecl Ninja'd i deleted that post because I solved that issue...look at this one now  PS: Pm me ng vent, after formating both pc's i lost all info. PSS: Fixed this issue as well, it showed my guid which is like 30 characters long? |

I checked on PBBans and Yawn and it didn't show anything, however, just incase I didn't do something right..
