I drive one of these and people slow down when I am behind them. Edit: This was my first and second car as well, and I had an intrepid. I just realized that I only buy police type vehicles. So i guess this is my next one

Nice riddle. Is that box chevy a caprice? If so, that is an awesome car. I too have people slow down when I am behind them (mostly at night when all they can see are the impala lights)... it's pretty funny. Also, it's pretty awesome because I feel safer haha

yeah I had a dark blue v8 350 and a tan v8 305 88 and 89 respectively. I am going to buy one as a project because they are so easy to work on and I miss the ride in them. But I have to get one shipped cause they rust out in the salt.

Nice, I was born in 89! Lmao... My roommate in college had an 89 caprice from our sophomore year of high school until our sophomore year of college. Unfortunately everything shit out on him, and getting a new car was the less expensive option. Which is a shame because... as a passenger I miss that car, it was ridiculously comfortable. imo

The blue one was in two accidents before I had it and only died after I sold it and the guy broke a spark plug off in the engine, IDK what happened to it after that.
I got the tan one off my mother (sells cars) for $100 because the body had 300k on it from old couple driving it back and forth to florida for years, but the engine had less than 20k on it, they just didnt bother to look before she offered to take it for parts for mine. So when I got it home and found out that it was practically a brand new car I sold my blue one for $600. Drove that until the transmission went and sold the engine alone for $800, junking the rest.
