the xreal part looks pretty fucking cool to me. be cool if they can incorporate it into rtcw.

The ET xreal project is being run by ioquake, so that part seems fairly promising as they have previously done this type of thing with the q3 engine. The rtcw project sounds like it's going to be done by one guy effectively copying ioquakes work on ET. He's basing this on the fact that the rtcw engine and et engine are similar enough that much of what works for one will work for the other too. I'm no coder, but I know that the ET engine had a lot of changes, which might make it alot more complicated than it otherwise sounds I hope he's a very good coder
