AiR in Trouble

So i did some windows updates to my computer... and now i can't get on the internet

it's not recognizing my ethernet connection (light on lan connector is red instead of green) So it knows there is something in the hole but doesn't know what to do with it lol

I've tried unplugging it and plugging it back in

I've checked under device manager and it knows there is a problem... just can't see to fix it - it didn't have any drivers to roll back to

I tried system restore to a earlier date - no good, says it couldn't restore

I unstalled the devices and restarted to do a hardware check, and it pops-up about trying to find drivers for it now...

I've tried downloading the network drivers (on my labtop -i'm using now) and transfer them over to the computer (via thumbdriver) and it still doesn't work.

I'm at a lose of what to try next... help?

welp... did something wrong... tried downloading a particular file it was asking for - Nvefdxp.sys and appearly right before it asked me something it said the source was newer then then file... and then asked to restart

well now everytime windows boots up... i get the blue screen of death.. which actually worse then the red ring of death for me

after about 5 restarts... i was able to boot

went into safe mode and was able to do a system restore to before the last updates

idk why it wouldn't let me do that from normal mode

but all is good now i think ...

I could delete all my post but will let this be a lesson to all.. computers are like women. They freak out sometimes... just slap them around a bit and they will go back to normal ;D
