Started in 1.0 with OBN, then moved onto 1.33 to play with SIN and then n2p. Once those clans died/moved on i sadly joined BaD. The members at the time weren't the best but they were cool to play with. 1.4 came out so i moved onto that and jumped right into the osp league. Took me a while before finding a decent team. Played for NoX, A*,-}!f{, x|, n2p, Paco, and a few others. Played quite a bit of shrub just to more competition. Spent a fair amount of time on gp as .inflames. Osp then died and shrub was all that remained. Played ET with x| for a while and got bored there. Went back to 1.33 only to see people bitching about luckyb and akasha. Then i got sick of badmod and moved back to 1.0 with obn who is now dead....again lol. Finally have a job where i can relax at the end of the day so i reinstalled.

Yeah that i was Tex. I was in Cnn way back when it first started. I was in a few 1.4 clans with you as well.
@eclipse- haha yeah well let me play a lil more then just 2 days. Still getting my cfg back to how i liked it. Having to use my osp cfg and some shit just doesn't fit well in 1.0.

Played LAN at college with about 20 people. Just a bunch of people running around with flamethrowers and panzers on beach. C@!N and $P3< found the MP option and eventually talked me into playing online. I would go play on BaD server nightly from 2003-2004. $P3< was also the first to figure out that you could change your CFG so that the game would play better, but he wasn't good with computers, so I figured out how to do that. That's about the time I was able to surpass a .5 kill ratio since I was finally on level uneven playing ground with you other guys who played with custom CFGs. I spread this knowledge to other (P-BLK) members and spent more time teaching new members how to get better at the game... while not getting any better myself. I played 1.33 about a year ago when there was maybe 2 servers left. Finally went to 1.0. I like not having to remember a CD key and I can download it whenever I want. I only play in VALKS server because I suck too much to play anywhere else. Plus I constantly get accused of hacking which is a nice ego boost for me  |

Dude, I semi joined 1337 a while back. I thought your name was highceilings on that forum. Anyways, yeah, I stopped playing for awhile. Had a shit computer and ended up going to Linux Mint. Was playing RTCW a little bit through WINE (Windows Emulation), but the framerate was awful AND I couldn't get it to go fullscreen  Built my first PC this month, played wolf for hours last Saturday. Backstabbed my first noob on an MG42 on Village. Now I'm hooked again. Does anyone play objective anymore or is NG all about deathmatch? I'd like to catch you guys in a server, but if it's DM, I will just basically be a body shield and subject for ridicule. |

NG plays DM and OBJ, we are obj at the heart all the way, we have an obj rotation server but it is just down temporarily. We play mostly DM because that is just what the majority of 1.0 plays, it's still good fun. The only way to improve in DM is practice at it, in no time you will be doing better than you would imagine. If you have a mic join us on vent sometime, or say hello in game.

what got me into wolf? Epic Effect, its the shit. I think all I wanted to do was be as good as Serbian and eventually make a frag video like he did.
I wish could have played against him, he is like my idol.
Haggard is my second favorite wolf player. I saw an 8 second video of his shooting, and then I decided to play 1.0 and apply for sod.
Serium is also an inspiring player. Even though he hacked, watching him run around people is crazy to watch.
So, other people playing this game has inspired me to play this much.
