sandmans instructions are kind of iffy on this and I notice people having problems installing it.
s4ndmod.com/joomla/punkbuster download from here. you want "windows client"
follow his directions and when you get to step 3 where it says make sure to install to correct location he kind of leaves you in the dark there.
the correct folder is your rtcw folder, NOT the main folder.

after you have it installed you may need to update PB, which can be done here: evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php. you want to download the windows version and follow the steps given on there.
after that is done, a shortcut should have been placed on your desktop, you want to RIGHT CLICK the shortcut and selced "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR" and you should be good to go.
if I missed anything or if you have any questions, please post up.
also, the PB client is actually pretty useless, its good for playing in those sandmod servers and such but I like it most for colored crosshairs and no blood flash, as well as hitsounds. the OSP fonts are nice too.
