wake up from a nap today to have alvin and the chipmunks squeaking christmas tunes through my speakers and my kid dressed as a reindeer.. wtf is with people skipping thanksgiving and getting right to christmas?
any way, the holidays are coming up soon, and for you crazy kids be careful tonight, call a friend to drive if youre too drunk or inebriated in any way.
anyone doing anything special for the holidays? I'm going to the bonfire tonight and the high school game tomorrow morning then a long trek up to NY after the game.

eclipse, you sound like an old man. and canadians already had their thanksgiving, but have fun on yours. i feel like an old man. i can still get on wolf and troll the fuck out of dagger though, makes me feel young again. where I'm from, Thanksgiving is a huge deal and I don't think it should be overlooked like it is being. My girl doesn't even want to go to the game tomorrow, what the fuck kind of shit is that? |

its a pagan satanic holiday, basically, its the day when our ancestor came to this land and robbed,raped,murdered the natives, took their land, told them lies and made deals with them but broke them, and then sat at there homes to eat and thanked their god for what they did and for helping them accomplish this madness.
in another way, its a day when families come together and celebrate their...togetherness...and do family activities and stuff, after they eat a giant turkey.

celebrates the day columbus "discovered" the Americas and forced the red backs (native americans/indians) to be his slaves. kind of a stupid holiday since he didn't really discover the Americas.
But Diminish is completely wrong, IDK where he got an idea like that, I thought he went to school in America, I could be wrong.
Thanksgiving took place when the Americas were colonized and the Indians helped teach the colonists how to grow crop and live off the land and the colonists were thankful for that.

I thought it was actually when the colonists were starving and the Indians brought them food to survive. You repaid their gratitude by taking their lands and livestock!  |
