Hey dropkick whats up man! Any yeah simply put I have tried that. I also ran the PB installation as administrator too if that is another object of attention. I pretty much run everything as administrator just to be safe...like i said windows 7 can be a real hard-on.

hmmm, im kinda new to w7 and i havent had any problems like that yet, i also try to run everything as an admin also so idk what the problem could be, but i also google the problem also, just google the error

did you try running the game as administrator? did you try reading the thread as an administrator? Lol. I wish I had full admin so I could ban dimi.  |

doesnt seem like a game problem but more like a problem with your computer running the game. id recommend an reinstall.
if that doesnt work then like eclipse said id wait for someone to come along and offer better advice. cam.

Seems to be another problem also.......Main server is not refreshing the server list so if u are a new player u might not get a list from main server...i also tryed xfire but it wont load wolf either so for now alls i can do is wait......blaaaa!

Wow thanks for all the replies! I cant believe all the old names Im seeing here. Whats up everyone! I have found that if i delete the PB stuff I can get on just fine, through xfire that is... But as for the master server being down that is a separate issue. I guess that explains what seemed to be a lack of players yesterday. So as for now i suppose I can live without the colored crosshairs and what not. Oh and the s4ndmod servers as well. I hope you guys mostly stick to the ng server since thats probably the only one I can get on for the time being.

Windows signature problem are most likely caused by misconfigured system files. Windows signature problem usually happens when the computer's registry system overloads with to much data, or when certain system files become missing or broken. With that being said, are you sure you installed your PB correctly and followed step by step in eclipse guide? Skipping a step or doing it incorrectly can cause you to lose valuable files which you need to run PB. Also, make sure you have every file needed for PB or you will end up getting this problem each time. Also, for the registry problem I suggest using this program I use to clean out any unwanted registry files you may have. Make sure to back up your information after cleaning your registry as sometimes it can be files or folders you may need. www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/If this doesn't solve your problem, I can see if I can find another solution, best of luck. p.s. Used to have similar problem with both 1.0 and 1.4 being installed on one system.
Once you install the pb patch, go into the main of your 1.0 installation and rename WolfMP to Quake3. That did the trick for me.

I can believe it but it worked!! a simple rename was all it took, haha wow. Thanks for all the help guys. For the record though the master server is still showing down.

haha yeah they never thought we would be playing this game 10 years later i bet, let alone 1.0. Hopefully it gets back up soon.

And there is an obj server as well? I dont think I have the IP for that one.
