heres a we test i made with some average play from today. i got sipperi contact and he helped me to get it lookin like his vids which i real like look of.

so i mexed some in to show how much better i can make a vid look.next question gunx 3 or not?i personally dont like it, looks all gumby i think.and notifytext up in top left corner with everyones names?

Looks good. Did you use picmip 1 or 0? I personally prefer the more grainy details from 0, but I remember you preferring 1 in the past

Current trend with vids (in quake at least) is to ditch the blur in favour of ~50fps. Obviously that hurts the file size, but the majority of internet connections and machines can handle the extra work load these days. Going for that option really depends on your resources and the target audience. So that's just some food for thought

try playin it on vlc player dimish if u have that. yea nosy i like that look too but never really knew how to go about it.atm i record at 90 then make 30.should i record at 100 or 150 and make 50 in vegas?

If you're not going to use blur, then there is no need to record at a high frame rate and lower it later

Just one simple download+install and it will play pretty much everything you put through it. Great for those that don't like having to deal with codecs

is it possible to capture at 150 then down to 50 in vegas so its got that smooth feel but with blur too? or is it pointless with 50.i think thats mayby a stupid question?
yea iv always been a fan of picmip 1 even thou all my other vids are 0

You can do 50fps with blur, but I don't think there is much value in doing that. People choose 50fps so they don't need to create a fake motion blur to give it that smooth look. Motion blur is mainly used because 25-30 fps looks choppy otherwise, but 50fps doesn't really suffer from that problem

You'll need to download the movie to really see how it looks, though there are streaming options there if other people want to check it out without actually downloading the file

Note that I think blur can look quite good, while also keeping file size down (less detail for rendering), I just mentioned 50fps because it is currently popular
