vac bags would pretty much be the way to go. Machine to seal them may set you back, but the bags are pretty cheap and effective at what they do
Further measures might be to find a private courier service that does direct deliveries as opposed to larger operations that would pick up in bulk loads and return to a depot for processing. Private couriers will be more likely to fly under the radar and also reduce delivery times. Downside is that it will be more expensive

the way it works...
if ups/fedex get finds a box that has a high possibility of containing something illegal they call their local cops. The cops can search the box but have to get a warrant (basically if a dog picks that box out of a few they can get a warrant) They open the box - if illegal items are found they then attempt a delivery (they can't use ups or fedex uniforms or trucks) but they will use a look-alike. Only if the person or place the box was being delivered to accepts the box can they arrest anyone.
ups/fedex find boxes that have a return address of something different (like a different city) from the place of origin (where it was mailed from)
vacuum seal bags aren't good enough - dogs can pick out the scent of drugs and other illegal items through just about everything. Heard a story about someone put weed in a trash bag inside another trash bag inside a bag filled with diesel fuel (to mask the sent) with a few other bags all taped up in box and the dog still found the weed

Would a thick bag (120um or more) aswell as attempting to mask the smell be enough to disguise it from a person though? Never a good idea to use large scale companies with lots of procedures and processing for that kind of thing anyway |
